I am fascinated by our human biology and am keenly interested in all the ways we can experience being alive and well.

A yoga student and teacher for nearly 30 years, I am experienced in Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga. I teach an alignment focused, breath centered practice that draws on different styles of yoga.

​I approach Thai massage as an expression of "loving kindness" and I love how this style of bodywork becomes a healing synergistic experience for both the giver and receiver.  

I am also a Wim Hof Method instructor and believe that we can utilize breath, cold exposure and mindset to cultivate more radiant health and happiness in our lives.

I found yoga in 1986 when I had just turned 19 years old. The  Iyengar style of Hatha Yoga was my first love, with its strong focus on alignment and keen attention to detail. During my travels to the Iyengar institute in Pune, India in 1995, I began to explore the multiple branches of yogic philosophy. My practice today is influenced by Anusara Yoga, and tantric philosophy. I find  inspiration through meditation, communing with nature, gardening, hiking, poetry, and dance.

I will be offering Somatic Movement and Restorative Yoga in the afternoons focused on Women’s health and wellness. We will unwind the tight spots using gentle rhythmic movements and calming the nervous system to insure a good night’s sleep. The Restorative Yoga poses will focus on the regulation of hormones and digestive health.
